About the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP)
Worcestershire Business Central and the project BEEP is receiving up to £2,161,050 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The department for Communities and Local Government (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund.
ERDF funds help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations.

Who are The Worcestershire Business Central Growth Hub?
The Worcestershire Business Central Growth Hub was established in 2016 with the core aim of supporting high growth SMEs to further grow and develop. The support provided through the Growth Hub helps businesses to develop their internal capability in order to improve their productivity, grow and create jobs.
Worcestershire Business Central is a collaboration of information and support services co-located at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, working with Worcestershire County Council and supported by partners including Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, Local District Councils, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the European Regional Development Fund.
How can the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) help my business?
The ERDF funded Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) supports eligible businesses across the Marches region to become more environmentally friendly, and in doing so, save money on energy costs. BEEP is a partnership between Worcestershire Councils, Herefordshire Council, Telford & Wrekin Council, Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and Shropshire Council.
The support on offer is twofold and includes the following:
Assessment of your business premises, products and processes to see what improvements can be made with energy and resource usage
Partial grant funding of up to £20,000 (up to 40% of the total cost of the project) to implement the recommendations from the assessment and make your business more energy efficient. The grants are subject to eligibility criteria, and cover up to 40% of the install costs, depending on the amount of carbon that will be saved from the changes being made.

Variable Speed Drive Compressors
