Location - Gloucester (Office Based)

Salary - From £11.50 per hour depending on experience

Overview -

THE ROLE - Key tasks & responsibilities

As Sales and Administration Assistant you will be working as part of a small team to provide assistance with administrative and clerical services, primarily shadowing the General Manager to assist with all tasks and working to achieve sales goals and targets.

Duties to include:

  • Customer relations - Delivering customer service and after sales care, and building relations with existing and potential future customers, suppliers and distributors

  • Incoming call handling and processing of online enquiries

  • Data entry & management - Using in-house CRM systems and other databases

  • Visitor services assistant - Meet & greet visitors, providing a warm and informative welcome to the company

  • Meetings Clerk - Schedule and take notes in meetings in-house and on-site

  • Office administration - Raising and managing purchase orders to suppliers, processing of customer quotes and orders and document filing

  • General housekeeping and office up keep

PERSONAL SKILLS & characteristics

  • Excellent IT Skills - Ability to use MS packages proficiently

  • Strong Communicator - Can convey information in a clear and informative manner over the phone, over email and face to face

  • Professionalism - Ability to work autonomously with a pro-active attitude

  • Diligent & Conscientious

  • Meticulous & organised with a keen eye for detail

  • Helpful & Cooperative - Ability to work as a key team player both independently and with others

Essential Requirements:

  • Ability to commute: Gloucester office based role - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work

  • Education: Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or Equivalent

Ideal but Not Essential Requirements:

  • UK Full clean driving licence

  • Experience of the foodservice industry
